Re- launch of Toyota petrol variants

9th August, 2016: With the ban on the higher cc diesel vehicles in Delhi last year, the automobile market had to face a lot of troubles regarding the sales of their diesel variants. Delhi, being the national capital, is a good sales target for the auto- industry, now fails to fulfill the consumer- producer demands of the hour. This ban recently became one of the causes of disruption for the Auto- market.

3 New variants of Hyundai’s Creta

Hyundai celebrates its first anniversary in India with the launch of 3 new variants of its portable SUV car, Creta, this month. The anniversary edition of the car was unveiled by the badminton- star, Saina Nehwal. Because of the success stories of the new SUV in the Indian markets, the company decided to launch the new variants of the much demanded SUV, which marked its entry around the beginning of this year. The company also announced that the SUV set a benchmark in the segment by crossing the 1.25 lakh sales mark.

1-litre engine for Kwid

4th August, 2016: The top- fifth seller car in for June 2016, Renault Kwid is all set to get a makeover this month. The French auto maker will soon launch the new version of its small car that will be now powered by 1-litre petrol engine, probably by the end of this month. With this enhancement in the feature, The company, which currently sells the Kwid with an 800cc engine, now targets for a 5 per cent share in the Indian car market by the end of this year.

Hyundai decade with the Chennai port

Hyundai motors completed its 10 years  of business partnership with the Chennai port trust on 27th July, Wednesday, this year. A wharfage charge of Rs 19.69 crore was refunded by the Trust to the carmaker company and the cheque was handed over by Chennai Port Trust Chairman Cyril C. George to Y.K. Koo, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor.

Mercedez- Benz petrol variants to be soon launched in India

Supreme- court ban on over 2,000 cc diesel cars in Delhi led the German car-maker to bring back its petrol models for the Indian markets. The automobile owner intends to sell all of its petrol models that the company will bring to the country. If we look at its petrol cars then, around Ten years ago they had only petrol engines so it's not that unusual for the Benz. The German luxury automaker plans to launch its petrol engine cars of all the models in its Indian line-up around  September.

World’s sixth largest car market lags behind in its safety features

 

July 27th 2016: India, being the sixth largest car market of the world, as per the reports, still witnesses the highest rate of car accidents in the world every day resulting in the loss of lives and severe injuries to the living race. If we look at the numbers, then approximately 1,374 crashes and 400 deaths take place every day in these accidents. One of the major reasons behind this is the lack of proper required safety features in Indian cars which have been declared insufficient and ineffective compared to those of the developed countries.

The all new audi R8 V10 Plus

18th July, 2016 witnessed Audi Mumbai West set the pulses racing in the city as it launched the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built the next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus at the Audi Mumbai West showroom. The car was launched in India at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in February at a price of 2.47 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The sports car, which was launched in the presence of cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, was first unveiled globally at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
