Hyundai celebrates its first anniversary in India with the launch of 3 new variants of its portable SUV car, Creta, this month. The anniversary edition of the car was unveiled by the badminton- star, Saina Nehwal. Because of the success stories of the new SUV in the Indian markets, the company decided to launch the new variants of the much demanded SUV, which marked its entry around the beginning of this year. The company also announced that the SUV set a benchmark in the segment by crossing the 1.25 lakh sales mark. This feat, in turn, serves to vouch for Hyundai Creta's popularity nationally.
On the auspicious launch of the new variants, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said in a statement, "We would like to take this opportunity and express our gratitude to the customers who have shown trust in The Perfect SUV - Creta. As India's most loved auto manufacturer, we are committed to bringing best-in-class, modern and premium products for our aspirational customers. The introduction of three variants will add more value to the overall buying experience for customers."
The new vehicle will now also be available in Anniversary edition (SE), Executive variant (E+) and S+ diesel automatic version. These editions will be priced at Rs 12.23 lakh (petrol) and Rs 13.76 lakh (diesel), at Rs 9.99 lakh (petrol) and Rs 13.58 lakh consecutively.
