Hyundai’s Diwali Gift for its Customers - Tuscon

The south- Korean carmaker Hyundai is all set to launch its new SUV Hyundai Tuscon in October, this year.  The latest version of the SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo this year and thereby confirmed its launch in the second quarter of the same. The managing director and CEO of HMIL, Mr. YK Koo confirmed that the new Tucson will have some local content and will be made in India. It will be produced with high-level of localisation that will help the South Korean carmaker price it quite competitively.

Ford to recall vehicles worldwide

Faulty fuel- pump causes the American automaker to recall around 91000 vehicles worldwide. The company said it would replace fuel-pump control modules in about 88,151 vehicles which might result in car’s malfunctioning or the car to stall without any prior warnings.

The recall will include 2013- 2015 year models, Ford Taurus sedans, Ford Flex crossover utility vehicles, Lincoln MKS sedans, Lincoln MKT SUVs and Ford Police Interceptor sedans along with the recent year sales.

RENAULT-NISSAN TO FOLLOW THE CMF ARCHITECTURE

The Fansco-Japanese is under a complete reconstruction phase. The alliance is expected to roll out 70% of its vehicles on the Common Module Family architecture by 2020.

 

CMF is a system of modular vehicle architecture  which Renault-Nissan is likely to implement as a part of its reconstruction phase. The alliance believes that this is also bring the benefit of synergy to the company.
