Datsun, the Nissan owned automobile brand has announced the release date for its much awaited Redi GO. The company has announced it’s pricing to be between Rs.2.5 lakh for the base model and Rs. 3.5 lakh for the top end model.

This ‘Tall Boy’ design based car offers more head room for its passengers, has its signature hexagonal grills and a slanting bonnet. The top model also includes daytime running lights.
 

From June onwards, all the luxury cars that are priced above 10 lakhs will face a 1% increase in the duty paid. This rule applies on both old and new vehicles. The auto mobile market has already faced a hike in the infrastructural cess this March which has affected the whole automobile market. A further hike in prices for both old and new vehicles is likely to bring the automobile market to hit the worse.

Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer, in the annual meeting announced that it will start charging its customers for using the company’s supercharging station network. Presently free, the company plans to implement its decision soon after its newest model - Tesla Model 3 – hits the road.

VW Fixed 50,000 diesel cars in Europe in 2016

Sales chief Fred Kappler recently in an interview said that VW has fixed not more than 50,000 cars across Europe since the beginning of the year 2016. If we go by the total figures than 50k is just a meager part of a total of 8.5 million vehicles that are equipped with illicit emission control software.
