Tata opens the door for people to book Tiago

The much talked about car, Tata Tiago, is all set to be yours. Indian major, Tata Motors have commenced bookings for the much awaited hatchback from today.

The company has already spent a lot of amount in mending the ‘Zika’ name controversy. After a name hunt called #Fantastico, this Zippy Car finally got the name – Tiago.
 

Customers above 18 years of age can book a Tiago either online or at any of the Tata Motors' authorized dealership with a payment of Rs 10,000.

Price hikes for Honda, Tata and Mahindra n Mahindra

Mahindra n Mahindra has announces a price increase between the range of Rs. 5500 –  Rs 47000 effective from 1st April 2015.This hike is depends on the model and prevailing prices.

KUV 100, the young SUV, launched in the market in the mid of January faces an immediate price hike. The petrol variant costs 1% and the diesel version costs 2.5% dearer.

New Delhi, March 04, 2016: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country’s largest passenger car exporter and second largest car manufacturer announced the price increase across all its models with effect from March 01, 2016 on account of the new levies announced in the Union budget.


 

Price Hikes for Maruti

The auto industry already upset with the levy cess and price hikes for cars in the union Budget of 2016, decided to bring the plan into action. Maruti today followed the same path.

Following the infrastructural cess, Maruti Suzuki India Limited decided to increase the ex-showroom prices of its cars by a range of Rs.1,441 to Rs.34,494.Suzuki, however, did not mention any particular models for the same.

Hyundai Wins Market Confidence. Marks a 9.1% Increase in Sales.

 

Hyundai India, the South Korean venture once again made its phenomenal presence in the auto industry by showing a 9.1% increase in the domestic sale of its cars in February 2016.

Hyundai was successful in selling off a total of 40,716 units despite of the logistics challenges and the Jat stir that made the company to face a huge loss in the business days.
