Hyundai Motorsport has secured its second victory of the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season with a dominant performance by the Hyundai Motorsport team’s Thierry Neuville in WRC Rally Italia Sardegna (June 9~12).

The Income Tax department on Wednesday announced that the government departments, distributors and dealers will be exempted from paying a 1% levied Tax Collection at Source(TCS).

CBDT in a set of FAQs recently announced that the 1% TCS will apply only to the normal customers and retail sales. This tax is collected by the seller from the buyer.

"This (TCS) is brought to cover all transactions of retail sales and accordingly, it will not apply on sale of motor vehicles by manufacturers to dealers or distributors," the FAQ said

The American automaker giant, General Motors recently named Tony Francavilla as its Vice President for Global Quality. Francavilla will take up the vacant position which was earlier occupied by Grace Leiblein.

At the age of 58, Francavilla is now responsible for leading GM’s global quality efforts. As a VP he will report to the Chairman and CEO, Mary Barra.
