Car to protect you from front damages soon

According to the reports the Indian Transport ministry is taking a lot of measures to make India a safer place for its riders. It is working on various aspects including the national crash test plan, a nodal agency for maintaining the safety standards, a cleaner fuel norms and many more.

But now, it has started to work on making the chassis more strong and accident proof.Keeping in mind the safety of both, the driver and the pedestrian, the government has asked the auto manufacturers to equip all their cars with a frontal protection system so as to reduce the amount of fatalities in case of any collision .

The new protection system would include changes in the bumper, bonnets and the edges to absorb the accidental impact and ensure that minimum damage is cause to both the passengers and the pedestrian.

Pedestrian safety is as important as the safety of the passenger in the car. Thus a lot of importance is now given to the issue.

A stronger and a better quality front of the chassis will help  to reduce the damages and make India a safer place for the people.

European companies are working on safety norms that should be implemented in India very soon. Also the government authorities have now become more strict and are sensitising the car buyers about the need of safety.

Almost 14,000 pedestrians are killed in road accidents and over 50,000 receive serious injuries, according to figures provided by the ministry.

The government is also making airbags, anti-lock braking (ABS) and speed-warning systems standard equipment for all cars sold in India to ensure that they are on par with international safety standards.
