Toyota introduces its new concept- iRide

Earlier this year Toyota had come up with the Concept-i that specifically catered to the urban infrastructure. Lately, the company has gone a level up and transformed this concept into the i- Ride concept, a plan that can work well with both the urban environments as well as the shrinking cities.

The Concept-I is a two-seater electric wonder and once you open the door, the electrically operated seat automatically slides to the entrance, thus making it easier to get in. The rear compartment has enough space to carry your luggage.

The Concept-i car is probably the smallest car with gulling doors. These doors not only help this Toyota wonder to maintain its small size but also adds to the style quotient. In fact, the Concept-i helps to ease access inside the cabin for people in a wheelchair.

Another big leap in this concept is that is uses a joystick instead of a steering wheel, that makes the drive easier. The driver sits in the middle and can enable the Concept-i Ride to take care of parking thanks to the onboard assistance systems.

This car can run 150kms in a single charge. It measures in at 2500mm in length, 1300 mm in width and 1500mm in height. Wheelbase of the car is 1800 mm.
