Tata Tigor launched @4.70 lakhs

The home based car manufacturers, Tata Motors have launched the best from their kitty, ie, Tata Tigor, pronounced as tee-guar. The subcompact sedan brings the ray of hope for the company to re-establish its presence in the car market of India. Here is the list of all its launched variants along with its pricing:

Exterior:

The saloon has a narrow soot black front grille holding the 'T' logo in the middle. Alongside is the blacked out headlamp cluster with projector low beams and a halogen high beam setup and LED tail lamps with a high mounted LED third brake light. A roof mounted spoiler that envelops this high mounted third brake lamp is also present int he car. It is aerodynamically designed with a slope like a coupe.It has a 14- and 15-inch alloy wheel depending on the model you opt for. It is 3992 mm long, 1677 mm wide and 1537 mm tall with a wheel base of 2450 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. 

Interior:

The vhicle is based on fabric and good quality plastic upholstery. On the cabin, it has a 5-inch touchscreen center console with mirror link capabilities but does not Apple CarPlay or Android Auto which are a part of the basic provision in other vehicles in the same price range these days. It has a bootspace of 419 litres. It also has automatic climate control, dual airbags, central locking, child safety locks and anti-theft alarm to provide safety.
 

Competition:

The saloon shall go against Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and the Ford Aspire from its segment.
