After Octavia and Superb, the all new Rapid is ready to launch on November 3, 2016.The Rapid is rumored to look familiar to the recently launched Octavia and Superb.
The car is rumoured to come with more bold and sharp front-fascia and fog lamps headlights and with some beauty and mechanical changes.Alloy wheels and chrome fitting too will render a grand look.
The car is expected to hit the roads with a 1.5 litre diesel engine backed with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 7- speed DSG gearbox. The turbocharger helps the Skoda rapid to emit the power output of up to 110Ps.
The car will also retain the 1.6 TSI petrol engine.This is going to compete with Honda city, Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai Verna in India. It will be interesting to see the performance of new Rapid facelift.
Skoda,making its way in festive season is supposed to do good business, dealers too are offering discount of up to Rs 1 lakh on the present Rapid.
