It was very recent that the Chinese automaker SAIC Motor Corporation Limited announced its India coming plans officially. Taking the first step it has announced its first leg of the top management people.
As per the reports, the first Chinese automaker to come to India SAIC has appointed Rajeev Chabra as the President & Managing Director and P Balendran as Executive Director of its Indian subsidiary MG Motor India.
The company mention about its happiness in having both Rajeev Chabra and Balendran on board and a part of the senior leadership team in MG Motor India.
Their wide and varied experience in the auto sector will lead the company to a successful future in India. The company has also started functional level appointments to further strengthen its operations going forward.
The company, at present, is about to finalize a manufacturing facility for itself and is making a strategic plan so that they stand out of completion in the highly competitive India Auto Industry.
The operations, which are expected to commence in 2019, will create sizable employment opportunities under the “Make in India” and “Skill India” initiatives and positively contribute to the economic development of the region.
