Renault to line-up its Kaptur by the end of 2017

Ahead of its market success of Duster, the car manufacturers straight from France plans to launch its Kaptur, which is already performing well in European markets. It is expected to hit the markets around October'17 to cater the festive craze. 

Variants: 

The crossover like SUV will be available in RxE, RxL, RxS and RxZ variants, both with petrol and diesel engines ranging from Rs.9 to 13.5 lakhs depending on the choice.

Transmission: 

For petrol based variants, it possesses 114 bhp 150 Nm 1.6 liter and 143 bhp 250 Nm 2.0 liter petrol engines with 5 and 6-speed manually-driven gear box capable of attaining 13 kmph mileage. Whereas in the diesel based variants, it has 1.5-liter K9K VGT turbo diesel engine with a 109 bhp power capable of attaining 17 kmph mileage with an automatic control system.

Exterior:

It will be longer than Duster and have 387 liters of bootspace. This 5 seater passenger vehicle  has a wider pitch black grille, newly shaped bumper holding C-shaped LED daylights,17-inch alloy wheels and a sporty flowing side look and tail lamps with LED projection at the rear. 

Interior:

The SUV will be heavily propped with features that might not be all found in one car in this price range. All the splendid functions like ABS along with EBD, automatic climate control, rain sensing wipers, hill start assist, multimedia navigation system NAV 2.2, ventilated seats, rear aircon vents and engine start and stop button

Competition:

It will go against Mahindra KUV500 and Honda Creta, and might be a better choice owing to its eye-catching all new cosmetic designing and all the features under one roof.
