New Delhi: Skoda has announced the launch of Rapid Rider Plus sedan, priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Auto India said the Rapid Rider Plus is the new variant of the sedan, which comes available in four colour options. These are Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Toffee Brown.
The sedan is powered by a 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine, clubbed with a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine churns out 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque. Skoda claims the sedan offers 18.97 kmpl of fuel efficiency.
Compared to the 1.6-liter MPI petrol engine, the new TSI motor churns out 5 percent more power and 14 percent more torque. Fuel efficiency too is claimed to have increased by 23 percent.
The Skoda Rapid Rider Plus sedan comes with 16.51 cm colour touchscreen central infotainment system with SmartLink technology. It also gets Climatronic technology, adjustable dual rear AC vents, 12V power socket etc.
