The answer is the Porsche 911 GT3. Porsche has just launch its new speedy at the price of Rs.2.31 crores (ex-showroom, all-India). Interestingly, this time around, the 991.2 GT3 gets a manual transmission for the first time apart from a host of dynamic updates over the 991 GT3.
The GT3 is packed with a highly powered 4.0-litre six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine. And this has replaced the earlier 3.8-litre unit in the older car. The car has the capacity of 500bhp and a max torque of 540Nm is channeled with the help of a seven-speed double-clutch transmission (PDK). Other option that is available for the customers is the six-speed sports manual gearbox.
The manual GT3 hits a speed of 100kmph in 3.9 seconds, while the PDK variant accomplishes the same in a mere 3.4 seconds. The top speeds on their speedometers is 320kmph for manual and 318kmph for PDK.The GT3 sits on a 245/35 ZR 20 tires at the front and 305/30 ZR 20 tires at the rear. The wheels are center-locking in a proper motorsport fashion. It also has an integrated carbon fiber rear wing which has been introduced for the first time.
The GT3 has the new four-point headlamps and taillights. Also, the use of the carbon fiber around thus two seaters has been very generous.
Talking about the interiors the Porsche GT3 has got more comforts than the features as compared to the other hardcore 911s. Alcantara upholstery, climate control, infotainment screen (optional add-on), and bucket/racing seats are what it comes with. Porsche also provides a plethora of customization options for the prospective customers.
