Recently, the newly opened vertical of Tata Motors, namely TaMo let lose the designing and development of RaceMo Sports car and C Qube concept that has gone into processing. Now it revealed its plans to come up with an electric car and a vehicle based on the concept of connected cars so as to serve the purpose of the cab providers Ola and Uber.
All the cars that are manufactured under the TaMo title aim to break away with the existing image of the Tata Motors that they couldn't supply anything better than Indica till date. The new technology based on electric cars has gone under testing period at Tata Motors European Technical Centre on their specific cars like Nano, Vista, Bolt and Ace. With the coming of RaceMo and other products, they want to flood the markets with technologically challenging vehicles that would help them get a new edge of thought from the customers, leaving them happy and satisfied. Thus, TaMo is working well on the ''DNA of pioneering spirit'' of the company, as was told by the Managing Director, Guenter Butschek in favor of the vertical. He also stated that he does not intend to deliver similar cars under the banner of TaMo, rather play with all the new concepts available globally and come up with real world solutionist prototypes.
Setting TaMo as an independent entity can help the company to sell its stakes and earn profits in the later stages as well. Launching vehicles under this title bring about employees focused more towards innovation and creativity, and the cars that can be experimental and new to the tastes of the Indian customers.
