After the 1st of July almost every manufacturer has revised its pricelist making their cars post GST affordable. Mitsubishi has now revealed its post GST prices in the country. The Japanese automaker has slashed the prices of its offerings by upto Rs.10 lakh in Delhi.
After the implementation of GST, various set of taxes (excise duty, value added tax, different cesses, etc.) have been replaced by a single unified tax and the impact of GST on the Indian auto industry is positive and phenomenal.
Pajero Sport
Pre GST the SUV, Pajero sport was sold in the price range of Rs.Rs 27.69 - 29.28 lakh however after the unified tax structure the prices has been reduced to Rs 26.47 - 28.04 lakh, thereby having a difference of Rs 1.22-1.24 lakh.
Montero
People planning to try their hands on the Mitsubishi Montero can really benefit a lot by buying this SUV at a high discount of Rs. 10.64 lakh. Earlier priced at Rs 68.62 lakh, the company has revised its price to Rs 57.98 lakh.
These prices so changed are ex-showroom, Delhi. The final on-road price comprises the ex-showroom price (ex-factory+GST), insurance and registration charges (warranties/special options opted for will be additional). Due to the implementation of GST, insurance charges will be more expensive by 3 per cent.
