Remember watching the movies Tomorrowland or Man In Black? When we watch a movie inclusive of time travel, we see technologically upgraded humankind leading to an all new era of traversing and communicating. Well, it won't be wrong to state that the land of imagination will turn into reality with such technological advancements planned by numerous companies all across the globe.
Talking about the automobile industry, in particular, recently Google unveiled it's "Waymo", a self-driving technology.Now comes another edition to the advancement in the form of Rinspeed's electrically driven car that is working on the features that will make you gape in awe. It is scheduled to be seen first at CES ( Consumer Electronic Show) 2017.
The vehicle aims at establishing better human interactions and provide the riders with a homely environment to ride in. For this, the car has added gesture control display along with self or manual driving facilities.
The structural designing of the vehicle is nothing like the existing ones, making it unique and distinct. It will be electrically driven. The car is expected to have an acceleration of 60 mph in 9.7 seconds.
Here are some out of the world functions that the car will provide:
1. It will have the Oasis driving app that will connect the car with other such cars on the move and give its passengers an opportunity to either ride alone or choose the person they want to travel with. They can do this via the app that slides like Tinder and chose the person they are interested in travelling with.
2. The moment you open the door, you will be greeted with a welcome note that will be projected on the ground in front of the door you open.
3. Rinspeed will also have a garden area behind the windshield of the car, to create a lovely fragrant ambience. You can grow small herbs or radishes and carrots in there. You can control the temperature and air regulation of the section with a little access window.
4. The car will have a 5k screen display with voice and gesture control. It will provide a good movie watch, obstacle alert, whether the signal is green and a direction guidance for the driver on the wheel.
5. The seats can spin when the person wants to make an easy exit from the vehicle.
6. When manually operated, the steering wheel will be folded inside, and a keyboard with 2 cupholders will take its place for the operation.
7. Not only this, the car will definitely demand a great amount of power so as to carry all the above said functional without a halt, for which the car might have solar panels on its roof and a battery exchange robot that would reach the car the moment its battery runs low.
These are some out of the box features that will be showcased at CES followed by Detroit Motor Show. It is about to change the facade of travelling in the near future. Let's see what becomes of it, and when!
