The new BMW X3 xDrive28i and the X5 xDrive35i

Made in Chennai, the BMW India has released the new X3 xDrive28i and the X5 xDrive35i. Priced at  Rs 54.90 lakh and Rs 73.50 lakh (both prices ex showroom New Delhi), respectively, the models are available across the country in both petrol and diesel variants.

Available in Alpine White (non-metallic), Black Sapphire, Deep Blue and Melbourne Red (metallic) colours the new BMW X3 xDrive28i offers an attractive look. Combined with a two-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, the new BMW X3 xDrive28i produces an output of 180 kW / 245 hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm at 1,250 – 4,800 rpm. Moreover, the car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in an eye flashing 6.5 seconds.

 

While the BMW X5 xDrive35i will accommodate two new colour options other than that of X3, I.e Imperial Blue and Sparkling Brown, making it sportier than ever.

Combined with three-litre inline six-cylinder petrol engine, the new BMW X5 xDrive35i produces an output of 225 kW / 306 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,200 – 5,000 rpm. This car too accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 6.5 seconds!

Both the versions are unique in its own way, where the new BMW X3 xDrive28i possess a eight-speed Steptronic transmission that too with Automatic Hold Function. On other hand if you want a smooth gear shift options with eight-speed Sport Steptronic automatic transmission, then opt for the BMW X5 xDrive35i.
