Mercedez launched AMG GT S model in India

The epitome of speed and style, Mercedes-Benz has let lose their AMG GT S model into the markets; priced at Rs. 2.40 Cr. The car took the place of already existing SLS AMG version with a lighter and tougher body design and uplifted front platform. 

Transmission:

The all new addition to Mercedes will possess 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that will generate a jaw-dropping 504 bhp power capable of controlling 600 Nm of torque. It inhibits 7-speed dual-clutch Gertarg gear box with automatic transmission. The coupe touches 100 kmph in mere 3.7 seconds.

Exterior:

The coupe has 4546mm length, 1288mm height, 1939mm width and 2630mm wheelbase. The car is all sporty with its capricious features that go with the long bonnet followed by 2-door designing. Dynamics of the car have been given a careful look so as to mark its safety on higher levels. it will have cool yet classy finesse given by LED high-performance headlamps, panoramic sunroof, red-painted brake callipers with "AMG" lettering, adaptive high beam assist, sequential LED rear turn indicators and selectable AMG performance exhaust system. It will have an unmatched performance owing to electronic AMG rear-axle differential lock, aluminium shift paddles, AMG ride controlling sports suspension and electrically extending rear aerofoil.

Interior

The insides are inclusive of designo headlining in black dinamica,AMGperformance steering wheel in black nappa leather/DINAMICA, microfibreAMG instrument cluster, designo headlining in black dinamica microfibre, AMG Sports Seats, AMG emblem embossed into centre armrest, ambient lighting, AMG floor mats with "AMG" lettering and armrest for driver and front passenger. Comfort and convenience is added to the car with reversing camera feature, ECO start and stop button and cruise control

Safety:

The car is inclusive of a lot of safety provisions, some of them being collision prevention assist plus, tyre pressure monitoring system, adaptive brake, adaptive high beam assist, attention assist, lane tracking, lane keeping assist, blind spot assist and front airbags, combined thorax/pelvis side bags, window bags and knee bags, for the driver and front passenger respectively.  

Competition:

The car will have a tussle with Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type and Audi R8.
