The largest automakers in our country have planned to invest heftily in making their vehicles show good numbers on mileage output and less on the emission front. Since a decade, the company has been able to lower down carbon dioxide levels in all its models by 19 percent. It has introduced componential modifications in all its car line ups for lesser greenhouse gas emissions. Also, it is shifting its productional concern to hybrid technology to be a big shot in the recreation of the transportation system of India by 2030.
One prominent move made in that lieu has been to make the vehicle's fuel efficient at the same time. The company is building its vehicles on new platforms which are light in weight, aerodynamically proficient and let the vehicle transmit with a faster pace. The one platform already in work is the Heartect that the hatchbacks Baleno and Dzire are based on.
"We work on platform strategy and keep on rationalising them to offer better value to the customers by better fuel efficiency and better performance, which leads to a reduction in emissions," C V Raman, Executive Engineering Director of MSI added.
Celerio (27.62 kmpl), Dzire (28.4 kmpl) and Ciaz (28.09 kmpl) have proven to be very fuel efficient with a high deal of mileage procurement as mentioned above.
Recently the company also invested a whopping amount of Rs. 5 k crore (approx) in health and infrastructural buildup of the country and its vehicles and company networks that prevail in the country. The reason that it is he most trusted and volume selling car majors go justified with such moves.
