There is no doubt that this luxury SUV from the Italian carmaker will turn the cards for the sports car market and the luxury and premium segment. The Urus straddles the worlds of the SUV, the coupé-crossover, the sports car and the luxury car.
India is a kind of a market, especially for these hot premium cars, where the buyers are already stitched up. It is expected to be sold out before the actual launch.
The Urus will launch in India on January 11 2018 in Mumbai. The Urus has a 4-litre V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 637 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed 305 kmph. Its 4WD system gets active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering.
The company has recently launched its new plant where it will be producing The Urus.The company is expecting a double growth in the sale so this move will help it in producing 7,000 units than the earlier mark of 3,500. Because the company sees India as a great market for the Sports luxury SUV, it is launching the Urus in India first and later in Japan and South East Asia.
