Jeep, the American automaker is all set to launch its SUV in India in the end of this month. The company has finalized the date for the launch of the Compass on the 31st of July. The company that plays with a strong product line and has cars like the Cherokee and Wrangler in the line-up is all set to woo its customers once again with this new car.
The Compass will be in the same section as the Hyundai Tucson and thus will be able to position the brand in a better way in the country. But, a lower price doesn’t really compromise on the other aspects.
The large and square wheel arches and stooping roofline are the key visual highlights. The contoured tail-lights crowning an otherwise clean design. The newness added by these factors makes if fall into a tough competition with the Hyundai Tucson.
The other features that it has taken from its elder sibling are a seven chrome-bound slats, sharp Xenon head lights and generous chrome additions highlighting the front.
The interiors are white dominated and the ambience gives a luxurious feel. Also the 410 Liter boot space makes it a true SUV.
Jeep says the Compass has over 50 safety features including electronic stability control, hill start assist and ABS with EBD. The car will be available in 1.4L multi-air petrol and 2.0L eco diesel options.
