Honda Mobilio goes off the sale board

Honda Mobilio, is speculated to be off the sale board. Yes, the Japanese automaker is pulling the Multi Utility Vehicle out of its product portfolio,

However there is no official announcement from the company but the company has removed the Mobilio off the product list on the website. Lately, we also realized that the company did not announce its post GST price for the car while it did for the rest of its models.

The MUV Mobilio was launched in 2014 to give a tuff competition in the ear of utility vehicles. However, it looks like it has silently discontinued the model in the Indian market.

Having the same Brio DNA, the Mobilio recently had some cost-cutting which degraded its image as an MUV. And also, there was a very tuff competition from the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.  It resulted in gradually decreasing sales after the first few months of its launch.

Gradually, after the launch of the seven seater cross over, the Honda BR-v the Mobilio became a redundant offering in the market. While based on the same platform, the BR-V is definitely a better package with a bit rugged looks, updated interiors and an almost similar pricing.

All this and more further reduced the Mobilio demand and Honda had to stop the production of the car in February this year.
