Honda to collaborate with Waymo!

A week ago, the self operated unit of Alphabet Inc., Waymo revealed the details of its self-driven cars the next year, that has been undergoing testing since 2009 in four cities of USA.

The company has been working on its own to develop the technology for last six years, but it has gone open to investments in their project, unlike General Motorworks and Ford Motorworks who still are in process of developing the technology so as to pide the cost. The technology developers have already shown green signal to Fiat Chrysler Autoworks' minivans. The next in line is Honda, as they have recently held a meeting to talk over combining the technology of Waymo into suitable vehicles provided by Honda.

If both parties agree to join forces, engineers of Honda (California and Japan based) and Waymo (California and Michigan based) will work together to build the automation, design and develop automobiles that would incorporate self- drive sensors and softwares along with technical cosmetic designs and interiors of already running cars on roads.

Honda previously has also announced its intentions to construct a safer driving experiences devoid of collisions. The company will provide modified vehicles that can work with the new driver less technology. This will help bring about a smooth bridged transition between already existing petrol, diesel and electrically running automatic and manual vehicles and the completely self- driven vehicles.

Many people shared their optimistic approach towards the joint venture. The senior analyst Jeremy Carlson stated at IHS Automotives that Google is engaging with another automaker to apply its technology into different vehicles and different platforms while Honda’s perspective brings you a closer look at some of the most capable technologies that have made it to the industry today.
