Honda City Facelift Is Here Priced @8.32 Lacs

All time favorite of the budget friendly buyers' Honda City Facelift has hit the market today with an economical price bracket of Rs. 8.32-13.56 lakhs. 
 

Transmission:

 

The sedan does not see much of transmitting improvements as it inherits the same 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines with 5-speed manual or CVT and 6-speed automatic gearboxes respectively. Though the mileage has reduced from 17.8kmpl to 17.4kmpl for the petrol manual and from 26kmpl to 25.6kmpl in the diesel manual. They dispatch 119 bhp power and 145 Nm torque for petrol based models and 100 bhp with 200Nm torque for the diesel based models. It can reach a top speed of 175 km/hr.
 

 

Exterior:

 

The saloon gets an all new LED added headlamps and LED along with DLRs rear lamps. It is 4440 mm long, 1695 mm wide nad 1495 mm tall with a ground clearance of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 2600 mm with a 15-inch alloy wheel. The cargo volume at its back is pretty spacious with 510 liters of boot space. Rest everything is inherited from the already existing honda city's standardized exterior looks.
 

 

Interior:

 

On the inside, the car begets all the essentials like multi functional power steering, 7-inch DIGIPAD infotainment system with an inclusion of navigation system and both audio and visual interfaces. It has ambient yellow lighting with a fabric upholstery in the spacious and comfortable car which has rear seat armrest and headrests and cupholders both in the front and the rear. 
 

 

Safety:

 

The safety is also taken care of, as is the standard set by the Honda line up, by the provision of cruise control, navigation system, 6 airbags, remote trunk and fuel lid opener, ABS, central locking system, rear seat belts with seat belt warning, door ajar warning, crash sensors, child safety locks, anti-theft alarm, centrally mounted fuel tank and a disc and drum front and rear brake type. The vehicle follows BS IV emission norms. 
 

 

Competition:

 

At present, C-segment is ruled by Maruti Ciaz and the car is likely to face a tough competition with it, apart from Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, and Skoda Rapid.
