After 3 years as the President of Indian division of the company, Guillame Sicard is stepping down as the president and entering into the realm of Vice presidentship of Sales and Marketing parallel at Renault, Asia Pacific. It has been no doubt that the company saw a tremendous growth under his leadership, accompanied with the ex-CEO of the Nissan-Renault alliance, Carlos Ghosn. In his tenure, he successfully looked after the manufacturing, business development and network expansion fields of the company. He is the one behind the firm launch of Datsun. Now, the recent rumor told us that their are plans to add on to the overall build up of the SUV s as to enhance its market in India.
Nissan Motor also appointed Peyman Kargar as Senior Vice President and Chairman for Africa, Middle East and India (AMI) region and President for Nissan Middle east firm. Kalyana Sivagnanam is appointed as Regional Vice President, Marketing and Sales for its Africa, Middle East and India (AMI) region. The appointments shall be followed from 1st April'17.
