So here is all you wish to know about flying cars and its progress. Recently, we broke out the news that the first ever flying car has gone on sales, named as Aeromobil. 
 
The German manufacturers Lilium situated in Munich have also tested their air taxi VTOL Jet that can inhabit 5 passengers and a choice of vertical or jet-powered flight, beating Uber and Google who is still focusing hard on it Waymo Concept. We shall be talking more about it in our next article. 
 
The vehicle shall commence 190 miles with not so bad speed of 186 mph. It is expected to be five times faster than on road vehicles and the electricity requirements shall be the same as that of today's all-electric vehicles.
 
What makes it the topic of discussion is its ability to incorporate a vertical flight, ruling out the necessity of a separately built runway roads that stretch kilometers long to take a complete flight in the air. 
 
Other cars on the list are:
 
1. The crowd-funded e-volo, a firm based near Mannheim, which is a two-seat “multi copter” with 18 rotors to be used as flying taxis in pilot projects by 2018.

2. Terrafugia, based outside the US city of Boston and founded by MIT graduates. It is a mass-market flying car, while the US-Israeli firm Joby Aviation has said it is working on a four-seater drone.

3. Aeromobil, a teardrop-shaped vehicle suitable to run on the road and fly in the sky, based in Central Europe.

4. Pal-V one by a Dutch company that performs like a sports car on road and is capable of taking a flight when required. it has 3 tyres and a sleek body that gives it a motorcycle look as well.
