An all new hybrid is round the corner with its ever stylish features and not to miss design and development. Recently, we heard the news of discontinuation of already existing altis version by the company Toyota with an aim to create a clear base for the new hybrid technology oriented Corolla Altis Facelift. Now we get to know that the car will hit the markets as soon as the next month itself. Here are some cool features to look for in the sedan:
-It seems to have a raised back portion as compared to the front making it aerodynamically pleasing. From the outside, it shall be coloured in tokyo Red, Platinum or Earth Bronze as options with permutated shades of 4Evergreen Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, Absolutely Red, Barcelona Red Metallic, Brown Sugar Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Blue Crush Metallic and Classic Silver Metallic.
-On the front, it shall posses re-designed LED headlamps with new LED DRLs alongside a single-slat chrome grille. At the sides, the door handles get an addition of new chrome touch and a 17 inch alloy wheel. At the rear, the bumper has also been restylised alongside LED tail lamps.
-The power shall be drawn from the same 1.4 D-4D diesel engine and 1.8 2-ZR FE petrol engine of 87.2bhp @ 3800rpm and 138.03 bhp @6400 rpm respectively and a torque maxime of 205Nm @ 1800rpm – 2800rpm and 173Nm @ 4000rpm for its respective petrol and diesel engines. It shall be operated via 6 speed manual or CVT riven gear box. It will be capable of offering a mileage of 14 km/hr in petrol variant and a 21km/hr mileage in the diesel one.
-It is expected to lie in the price bracket of Rs. 14-18 lacs. Keeping that in view, that saloon shall go against Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia, and Chevrolet Cruze in the Indian market.
- On the insides, it is propped up with major featues like re-designed HVAC controls, better quality material and upholstery, new Toyota touch 2 system with navigation, 4.2-inch MID display with updated software, better cabin insulation and refined electric power steering.
