The hallmark of off-road capability knew from the arrival of the World War II, the Internationally recognized American SUV brand Jeep is pondering upon the idea for a 10-lac global off-roader for the Indian market.
Yes, you heard it right.
All the sports car enthus can now catch up with their dream of possessing one.
Although now the brand entered India with SUVs costing more than 70 lacss but after researching the Indian buyer and brands like Maruti, Vitara and Hyundai which are providing best SUV Models under 10 lacs, the American marque has decided to join hands with Tata Motors for engines, transmissions and possibly new products. Which might prove to be a profitable deal.
Mike Manley, head of the Jeep brand, believes India is one of the “most critical“ markets for the company as it looks at a greater and stronger push into emerging countries, including Brazil and China.”
Clearly, jeep is here to stay longer!
