BMW's Fully Self-Driving Cars Is Next

The race for a switch from already existing car concepts of manual driving or semi-automated cars to all the newly designed and freshly conceptualized cars like electric cars, hybrids or fully automatic cars has seen a dramatic pace. Amidst all the car majors revealing their plans over the launch of their respective automatic, hybrid or electric cars, BMW kept its silence, until now when it revealed that it is working over the concept of fully self driven cars that it will let lose by 2021.

It is undoubtedly the leading producer of electric and hybrid cars all over the world. Entering in the fully self- driven cars might pose a great deal of competition for the other car manufacturers; While others have promised to deliver the cars based on autonomy levels from 1 to 3 , the company has announced to deliver level 4 and 5 based autonomy, that will have a little driver's input and no input at all in the respective levels. In level 3 drivers can take their hands and eyes off the steering wheel and road. Coming to level 4, drivers can take their mind off the driving and utilize the time doing other works. Level 5 is another world experience! It might not even require a human for its on-board system operation. The company has never made a statement that is over-ambitious or out of execution if it seems so to you. It has already partnered the self-driving technical unit Mobil-eye for the same. The wait for 2021 seems quite appropriate now!
