New Delhi: BMW India has launched 3 Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition’ at Rs 42.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The car will be available in color options like Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, and Estoril Blue Metallic.
Produced at the BMW Chennai plant, the 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition will be available in limited numbers and it will be powered by a petrol engine, as the German luxury carmaker claims.
The car comes with black kidney grilles, LED headlamps and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, etc.
The power source, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine gets TwinPower Turbo technology and it is clubbed with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox. The engine churns out 255 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque, claims BMW. The car can accelerate to 0-100 mph in 6.1 seconds.
As BMW says, the safety features onboard this car include six airbags, ABS with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Side-impact Protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer, etc.
