Toyota India has launched SUV Urban Cruiser priced between Rs 8.40-11.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The main competition of Urban Cruiser is with Maruti Vitara Breeza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport, and Mahindra XUV300. Deliveries for the car will begin mid-October.
It is the second model to be launched in India under the global Toyota -Suzuki alliance, after the premium hatchback Glanza.
The Urban Cruiser comes strapped with the new K-Series 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine and is available in a choice of Manual Transmission (MT) and Automatic Transmission (AT). The company claimed it delivers fuel efficiency of 17.03 kmpl and 18.76 kmpl respectively.
