Tata power expands its EV charging stations network

Tata power is striving to provide sustainable and green energy to electric vehicle commuters across India and is achieving this adaptation smoothly by increasing the EV charging stations network across India.

IOC partnered with Ola Cabs to give India its first EV charging station in Nagpur in 2017. It was started near its petrol pump in Nagpur which established Nagpur as the first Indian city to adopt electric transportation.

Following on the same lines, now Tata power is aggressively increasing its EV charging stations in Mumbai where it has been setup in Vikroli. Two more charging stations have started operations in Lower Parel and Marketcity at Kurla.

As GOI is focussing on electric vehicles policy and has given a timeline for 100% electric vehicle transition by 2030, Tata power is planning to expand its EV charging stations network across India in order to achieve the goal smoothly.

The company further has plans to setup few more charging stations in the financial city of India.
