Tata Motors is working closely with the Government of India in order to be at the helm of the EV revolution which is on its way soon. Thus, to reiterate Government’s goal of complete electrification by 2030, the company has already rolled out its first batch of the Tigor EV.
Tata Motors has aggressively planned to showcase electric vehicles across commercial as well as passenger segments at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company has constantly supported all Government’s efforts for faster and smoother adoption of EVs by the Indian customers. Tata power has already set up many Electric charging stations across India and will continue to build the charging infrastructure in the future. The 2018 Auto Expo will be a great platform for the company to support Government and they will do so by showcasing 26 smart mobility solutions.
The company has already bagged the order from State-owned EESL for supply of 350 electric cars as to Mahindra & Mahindra who will supply 15 electric cars. As far as EVs are concerned, currently these two auto companies are the forefront of the upcoming EV revolution.
