New Delhi: Renault on Monday launched its first ever B-segment SUV Kiger in the Indian market at an introductory price of INR 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom, all India).
Kiger is designed in collaboration by the France and India teams, the company said in a release. It is developed and produced in India, for the Indian customers first, before it is taken globally, the release added.
Booking for Kiger commences from today across the extensive dealership network of more than more than 500 sales outlets across the country.

With a vision of fulfilling the growing SUV aspirations of a wide set of customers Renault Kiger is attractively priced, he said. "We look forward to strengthening our SUV legacy with this new game-changer,” Mamillapalle added.
Inside, Kiger features a smart cabin that combines technology, functionality and roominess. It will be powered by a new turbocharged 1.0L petrol engine for more performance and driving pleasure. This high performance, modern and efficient engine will ensure a sporty drive and will be complemented by multi-sense drive modes which offer the flexibility to best suit the customers driving preferences, the company claims.
Renault Kiger will be offered in two engine options 1.0L Energy and 1.0L Turbo with 2 pedal offerings on each of the engines. Customers can choose from four available trims – RXE, RXL, RXT & RXZ. Each version is built keeping in view the customer requirements and needs in the segment and has been attractively priced across all trims. Customers will have a valuable advantage at every level and also have the choice of opting for the stylish dual tone combinations which are available across the range.
The two front seats and the two rear side seats of Renault Kiger are fitted with three-point seatbelts, while the rear middle passenger seat features a two-point seatbelt. It comes with two front airbags for the driver and the front-seat passenger, along with the two side airbags. Both the front seats get seat belt reminder alerts for enhanced safety.
On the accessories and personalisation front, customers can choose from a smart range of specially curated accessory packs. There are five exclusive personalisation packs, SUV, Attractive, Essential, Smart, Smart Plus, and tech accessories like a wireless charger and air purifier.
