Renault Captur launched in India

The French automaker; Renault is now coming to India with its second D-segment product - the Renault Captur. This new crossover will be launched in both diesel and petrol variants and is expected to do good in the Indian markets as the company has gained a good popularity with the SUV Duster and the crossover KWID.

The Captur was launched in the 2016 and shared its platform with Duster. Its funky design and a better and longer feature list is something that will be liked by the Indian car buyers.

Talking about the exteriors of the very new Renault Captur, they are funkier and carry the latest design language. The signature grille, heavily flared wheel arches and distinct rear end with the contrast colored bumper element all help the car to bring its sportiness forward.

The interiors have been intelligently designed and help draw the perfect balance with the white and black color. The car has been packed in a way that all its features are accessible and yet it looks simple and easy to drive. The infotainment system is placed a little higher for a better accessibility and the instrument cluster has a total brand new interface. This helps in keeping all the buttons and features handy.

The Captur will be launched with a 1.5-litre motor in the 108bhp/245Nm state of tune while the petrol too is a 1.5-litre and produces 105bhp/142Nm.

It will rival the likes of the Jeep Compass, Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV500 and all the D-segment sedans. We believe that Renault will price it in the range of Rs 12 lakhs to Rs 17 lakh
