India’s leap in EV adaptation. EV station up soon

India is one of the top countries that rule the automobile world. When the automobile sphere is changing and adapting to more cleaner fuels, India is making all the changes necessary to adapt to innovation and development.

Recently, the NITI ayog, National Institution for Transforming India, has decided to set up a network of electric vehicle charging stations in Delhi. In the pilot project, the organization has planned to set up 135 EV (electric vehicle) charging stations at 55 locations in the capital.

The proposal plans to set up these stations majorly on the Gurgaon - South Delhi belt. The planning process is based on a five-step process -- project kickoff, formation of "long list" of locations, streamlining and timing, documentation and wrap-up.

The proposal states that out of the 135 EV charging stations, 46 are DC (direct current) that will support quick charging and 89 are slower AC (alternate current) stations.

The healthy and appropriate development of such a network will require a well corporation in between the state governments, selected government authorities and companies as well as some private enterprises.

The first installation will start as early as November 2017. After the pilot is successful and is implemented in the right manner, the host of charging station will be installed in the other parts of the country.

With this step, the adaptation of the electric vehicles in the country will increase and will help us in adapting a sustainable development.
