Honda is launching WR-V facelift on 2 July 2020

WR-V which was launched in 2017 is now getting a facelift to revive the sales numbers. WR-V was well accepted by the customers, Honda has made some visual and cosmetic changes in this cross hatchback, which will be launched in the Indian market on 2nd July 2020. Honda WR-V competes with cars like Ford Freestyle and Hyundai i20 Active in the compact crossover segment.

The following changes have been made. Honda WR-V BS6 has an all-new front fascia. The front grille on the BS6 WR-V has been redesigned and looks much more premium. The redesigned grille also gives it a dominating look on the road. The headlights are projector type lamps and look much fresher than the outgoing version.

The diesel version of the WR-V will have a new design for the alloy wheels, the petrol versions will continue to get the same old design in the rear, it would be like the old design. Apart from these changes on the outside, the interiors of the BS6 WR-V is likely to remain the same.

There is a disappointment for AT customers, facelift WR-V won't have an automatic transmission, also the price is expected to be slightly more than the previous model.

Customers will get redesigned upholstery, touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, sunroof, rear parking sensors, camera and so on. safety features such as dual airbags, ABS and EBD. WR-V will be available with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine generates a maximum output of 90 Ps and the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 100 Ps.
