Hector Plus, price hiked up to Rs 46,000

NEW DELHI: Chinese company MG Motors has increased the price of the Hector Plus, the car is now priced between Rs 13.74 lakh and Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Petrol variant in Style trim has seen the sharpest increase in price, followed by the Sharp DCT at Rs 15,000.

Hector Plus Sharp Hybrid prices are up by about Rs 10,000 while the Smart DCT variant will now be costlier by Rs 5,000.
Style Trim in the Petrol variant was costing Rs 13.49 lakh and now will cost Rs 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom). Smart DCT was costing Rs 16.65 lakh and will cost Rs 16.70 lakh (ex-showroom)

Smart Hybrid cost Rs 17. 29 lakh and will now cost Rs 17.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

From among the Hector Plus diesel variants, it is the entry-level Style that sees the sharpest hike, at Rs 46,000. The fully-loaded Sharp diesel, on the other hand, is now dearer by Rs 15,000. Prices for the mid-spec Super and Smart trims have increased by only Rs 5,000.

The style variant in diesel used to cost Rs 14.44 lakh and now costs Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Super variant has become costly to Rs 15.70 lakh from 15.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The smart variant is now Rs 17.20 lakh from 17.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sharp variant in diesel used to cost Rs 18.54 lakh and will now cost Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
