FCA’s new Jeep Compass launched at Rs. 22.84 lacs

FCA on Thursday launched and brand new variant of its SUV offering - the Jeep Compass. The new edition has been named as limited plus. And this new edition is now loaded with features.

To begin with, it has a 8.4-inch UConnect infotainment screen, selective automatic headlamps, 18-inch dual-tone polished-aluminum alloy wheels, six airbags, rain-sensing wipers and electrochromic auto-dimming IRVM.

The new car also comes with  panoramic dual-pane sunroof and 8-way power seat for driver with memory function and indeed it is a feature bomb.

Priced between Rs. 21.07 lakh to Rs 22.85 lakh, the car will now come in three variants.

The company sees this launch as a part of its business strategy in India. “When we launched the Jeep Compass in August 2017 we were determined to keep setting new standards with our product quality and continuously make it more desirable for customers,” said FCA India President and Managing Director, Kevin Flynn.

The sale of the model has been dwindling since it launch. The first month accounted a sale of 2020 units whereas August 2018 recorded just 1300 units. With this new variants, the company expects to raise the graph again
