New Honda City Launch is planned in July 2020

Honda Cars India Limited has disclosed details of the new Honda City which is scheduled to be launched in India in the month of July 2020. The company claims that the new city will come with advance and upgraded features like Alexa remote connectivity etc.HCIL claims that the new Honda City will come as the longest (4,549 mm) and widest (1,748 mm) sedan in its segment. It received ASEAN NCAP 5 star rating as well. The automaker further claims that the new City sedan gets next-generation Honda Connect with Telematics Control Unit (TCU).

 The new Honda City sedan is claimed to be equipped with full LED headlamps, LED taillights, 17.7 cm HD full-color TFT meter with G-meter, LaneWatch camera, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Agile Handling Assist (AHA), etc.

The new Hona City midsize sedan will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC engine that will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT options. The engine churns out 121 PS of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm.

As per Honda claims, the petrol variant will deliver 17.8 kmpl of mileage for the manual variant and the CVT one will deliver 18.4 kmpl.

The diesel-powered City sedan will be powered by a 1.5L i-DTEC engine, which will be clubbed with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine churns out 100 PS of power at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. It returns 24.1 kmpl of mileage, as per Honda Car India.
